Remix F – Flora is based on a European-Javanese batik cloth in the buketan (bouquet) style, in which introduced flowers such as roses and peonies are richly rendered. These motifs, shaped by colonial exchange, form a hybrid botanical language in which different cultures merge.

Within the 80 x 80 cm surface, a composition unfolds, with repeating patterns. Flat, colored circles have been added to interrupt the floral field and create a new rhythm. This establishes an interplay between organic forms and precise geometry, between tradition and contemporary interpretation.

Remix F – Flora highlights the resilience of flowers as a universal symbol and shows how patterns transform when viewed through another time and context.
